The Osprey at Beaver Creek is honored as the top resort in the continental United States — and leads a Colorado sweep of the top three American resorts — in the Travel + Leisure 2012 World’s Best Awards, which were announced Friday.
Denver had one hotel among the nine Colorado facilities that received accolades in the magazine’s annual reader-generated survey — the Four Seasons Hotel Denver was ranked as the No. 31 large city hotel in the United States.
